The Apex Arts Council (AAC) is a nonprofit organization supporting all artistic disciplines, including visual art, music, dance, theatre, literary arts, and others. We are committed to enhancing the quality of life in our community through the cultivation of creativity, excellence, and diversity in the arts and stimulating their appreciation and accessibility.
The Mission of the AAC is to provide promotion, education, and support to the arts and to assist artists by providing venues for exposure and revenue generation. The arts are at the core of the creative economy of our community and country. They should be nurtured and encouraged by all of us in every way possible.

The AAC was founded on the belief the arts contribute to high quality of living and are an essential component to a vibrant economy. The AAC is working to support our artists through art shows, concerts, publicity and the creation of groups to involve our community in area performances and presentations of various artists, the development of arts festivals, and the publication of an informative arts newsletter.
The council exists to serve the area by:
- working with businesses, the community, and artists to coordinate and provide public art settings;
- stimulating and encouraging the development of arts and cultural projects and activities which will serve to educate the community in arts and culture;
- receiving and distributing information on arts and cultural programs and activities in the local community; and
- supporting local and emerging artists and arts organizations by providing opportunities for them to show or perform their work.
